I’ve definitely had a hit or miss relationship with public speaking. I am not pleased with the symptoms of the preceptory anxiety, but also realize when I focus on it, it will produce more of that ‘fruit’

I starting speaking publicly when I was six, at church meetings, and actually looked forward to doing more of them from that age, until I hit a different level of self-awareness, around the age of 14

I did a couple public speeches in the military, and a few more in college since then. I understand it’s part of my kryptonite, but I still have to ‘stare’ into that dragon

The ‘To-Go Cup’ project:

Speech class 111 was an eye-opening experience; One that will be remembered. I am quite sure I left the same impression on the class as well

My first speech was on my personal introduction and soap-making. It was fairly palpatatious, (Jaimeism) even though it only last two minutes. How was I ever going to do a seven-to-ten-minute speech? Zoom or not, it’s public speaking. It is true that when you slowly ease your way into uncomfortable situations, you become more de-sensitized to it. My second speech was on mushroom growing, and the third was on the lop-sided family court system

Taking chances and exploring the unknown/going against the grain is where my mental engine idles, so that’s why my relationship with public speaking is like a sick game of BDSM, lol
